Why Ketju rejected Superstate / Invesco USTB

Memo v2Published by Ketju Research

A registry memo, published verbatim and versioned. Superseded versions are recorded, never edited away. A rejection is a judgment for Ketju's client base and thesis, not a universal safety claim. Not investment, legal, tax, or compliance advice.

The memo

v2 SUPERSEDES v1. Access resolved 2026-08-01: qualified purchasers only, $100,000 minimum initial investment unless waived by Superstate. Our clients cannot hold it. Rejected on access, not quality. The v1 observation stands and stays on the watch list from outside: USTB as Aave Horizon collateral remains the first real example of tokenised RWA composing with DeFi lending — the leading indicator of whether the two worlds actually merge.
