Lido proposes investing about $30 million of treasury stablecoins in sUSDS and tokenized funds
The proposal would let the committee withdraw stablecoins through existing Easy Track motions and convert them into sUSDS or selected tokenized money-market funds. Foundation multisigs would hold the assets for the DAO.
Rocket Pool vote would change Saturn 1 express-ticket allocation
The proposal would remove the base allocation of two tickets that every operator now gets. It would let one regular-queue megapool through after four express-queue deposits, up from two.
Rocket Pool vote would close the minipool queue by Dec. 8, 2025
The proposal would close the minipool queue, which cannot be left once entered, by Dec. 8, 2025, or six weeks before Saturn 1. It sets the exceptional conditions under which the queue could reopen.
Aave froze the wstETH reserve on Plasma
Aave disabled new wstETH deposits, borrowing and collateral use on its Plasma market.
Aave set LTV to zero for nine volatile assets on four instances
Under their base settings, the nine assets no longer add borrowing power, which moves them closer to removal.
Aave restored supply and borrow caps on Gnosis
The payload raised caps for wstETH, sDAI, GNO, WETH, USDC.e, xDAI, GHO and EURe to the revised levels it set.
Optimism Developer Advisory Board opened a vote on on-chain Governor controls
The proposal would give the Security Council the Optimism Governor admin role. It would make Token House authority enforceable on-chain through an authorizedProposer role.
Aave proposal 400 would let cbBTC back USDC and GHO loans on Base at 80% LTV
The plan is now a formal AIP. If executed, cbBTC could back USDC and GHO loans in the new E-Mode, with an 80% maximum LTV, an 83% liquidation threshold and a 4% liquidation bonus.
Aave opens a vote to retire legacy USDC on Gnosis
The retirement plan is now a formal AIP. If it executes, Aave will freeze the reserve against new deposits, new borrowing and new use as collateral, and the reserve factor will rise from 40% to 80%.
Aave listed USDe and sUSDe on Avalanche with 50 million supply caps
USDe and sUSDe became collateral on Avalanche with 50 million-unit supply caps, their own capped oracles and stablecoin E-mode settings. Aave enabled borrowing of USDe but not of sUSDe.
Aave turns on automated Slope2 rate changes for seven reserves
The approved risk oracle and steward now make Slope2 updates. On Ethereum they cover WETH, USDC, USDT and USDe, and on Linea they cover WETH, USDC and USDT.
Spark governance approves removing caps on USDC, USDT and PYUSD reserves
Once in force, the change would remove the cap on how much of each of the three stablecoins SparkLend holds.
Spark lets any one of four signers freeze its Liquidity Layer
The Core Operator Relayer becomes a 2-of-5 multisig with two Amatsu signers, two Spark Assets Foundation signers and one Phoenix Labs signer.
Aave adds syrupUSDT as collateral on Plasma with a 150 million cap
syrupUSDT is now collateral that cannot be borrowed, with a 150 million-unit supply cap, a capped syrupUSDT-to-USDT oracle and a syrupUSDT/USDT0 E-mode.
Lido holders give Lido Ecosystem Foundation power to negotiate stETH bridge deals
The foundation now carries out bridge partnerships. A new Bridging Security Committee can approve or veto them. The DAO no longer has five days to object after the Network Expansion Committee publishes a bridge.
Lido voters approved version 3 of its validator exit standard
The approved standard adds triggerable withdrawals and extends to Simple DVT, Community Staking and future modules. It sets out more clearly what node operators must do on exits, settings, response times and reporting.
Base RPC and transaction delays last about two hours on Oct. 20, 2025
For about two hours, sending transactions and reading state were less reliable. Base canonical bridge users and the systems that watch them rely on both.
AWS outage cuts Base capacity and stops batch posts for about 90 minutes
For a time, Base Mainnet produced less and posted L2 batches to Ethereum late. The incident showed that timely settlement through the canonical bridge, and Ketju's checks on it, rely on the cloud provider staying up.
Aave listed wstETH and wrsETH on Plasma with 20,000-unit supply caps
Both assets became collateral with 20,000-unit supply caps and their own capped oracles. Aave enabled borrowing of wstETH but not of wrsETH. Separate E-mode settings allow much higher leverage than the base settings.
Aave listed January 2026 USDe principal tokens on Plasma with 200 million caps
The fixed-maturity tokens became collateral that users cannot borrow, with 200 million-unit supply caps, linear-discount oracles and E-mode parameters set by a risk oracle.
Base recovered from congestion that delayed transactions on Oct. 17 and 18, 2025
Transactions could stay pending longer during congestion, and Base raised mempool capacity to include them faster. For a time, transactions tied to the canonical bridge were less reliable.
Base safe head falls behind for about three hours under heavy traffic
The safe state advanced more slowly. Users could see delayed or dropped transactions, and node software could fall behind. For a time, the usual timing for settlement through the Base canonical bridge did not hold.
Lido activates triggerable withdrawals on Ethereum mainnet on Oct. 2, 2025
Lido can now start validator exits from the execution layer without needing the node operator to cooperate. The change adds a way for anyone to enforce exits and new parts that control validator exits.
Lido tokenholders approve the V3 stVaults design
The DAO told contributors to finish audits and testing and to prepare an on-chain vote to launch a major new staking-vault design on mainnet.
Lido approves a 3-of-5 stVaults Committee to set vault terms
The DAO approved a body that acts on its behalf and defined its power over key stVault economic and risk settings.
Scope
Ketju lists an event here when it can change a Ketju memo, a position a client holds, something that position depends on, or the records an advisor should keep. Each entry names the stage the event has reached: reported, proposed, approved, executed, contained, recovered, or explained in a postmortem.
Corrections
Ketju never edits a published version. A recovery, a postmortem, a corrected loss figure, or a changed reading becomes a new version at the same address, and every earlier version stays in the JSON file.
