Sky proposed a Morpho timelock exception and changes to its allocation controls

On-chain events · · Ketju Research

ProposedConfirmed evidence

Affects: Sky (protocol) · Morpho Blue (protocol) · Spark Liquidity Layer (protocol)

What happened

Core GovOps proposed weekly Atlas edits for the week of Oct. 12. The edits give Spark three more weeks to meet Morpho vault timelock rules, allow audited custom Morpho oracle logic, move Diamond PAU emergency procedures into Sky Core and update the LitePSM list of authorized parties.

What changed

The proposed rules would extend a compliance exception and change the requirements for oracles and emergency controls. Ketju will need to review Sky's allocations against them if they pass.

What did not change

The submission does not show that Sky adopted the edits or changed any contract. Listing existing LitePSM addresses does not show a new whitelist grant, a redemption gate or a fee change.

Confirmed

  • Core GovOps submitted the Atlas edit proposal for the week of Oct. 12.
  • The proposed Spark exception gives three more weeks to meet Morpho vault timelock rules.
  • The proposal allows audited custom logic in Morpho oracle contracts and moves Diamond PAU emergency procedures into Sky Core.
  • The submission proposes listing eight existing LitePSM whitelisted addresses.

Still open

  • Ketju has not reviewed the full amendment text, the vote result or the rules that result.
  • The summary Ketju holds does not name the affected Spark vaults or their current timelocks.
  • Ketju has found no new limit on LitePSM access and no executed grant of authority.

What it means for an advisor

  • Ketju will review the Sky allocation-control appendix and how the Morpho memo treats Spark vault timelocks and custom oracle logic.
  • Ketju will compare the adopted text with the live vault and emergency powers before changing how it reads any approval.
