DeFi Saver adds live Morpho Midnight access on Base
The Ledger · · Ketju Research
Affects: DeFi Saver Asset Management (protocol)
What happened
DeFi Saver's launch notice and September recap describe available Base fixed-term lending-market access through Morpho Midnight.
What changed
Users can browse maturities and fixed rates and enter or adjust leveraged positions through the interface. This adds a product-specific operational and diligence perimeter.
What did not change
The recap says smart wallets are required and DFS Automation is not yet supported for Midnight. Interface eligibility does not confer approval on the underlying protocol.
Confirmed
- The official August 28 notice states Base support is live.
- The September recap describes one-transaction entry and Boost & Repay capabilities.
- The DeFi Saver memo requires separate approval of the underlying protocol.
Still open
- Exact deployment and market-level controls needed for a separate Midnight assessment.
- Advisor eligibility, maturity liquidity and proposed-size entry and exit performance.
What it means for an advisor
- Review the DeFi Saver memo's supported-product boundary.
- Keep Midnight outside inherited approval until its underlying protocol and operational limitations are assessed separately.
