Liveness record
Fast HotStuff-style finality reduces normal confirmation time, but the launch architecture intentionally keeps the validator set small. Rewards can be slashed while validator collateral is not, and the current documentation does not apply a separate liveness penalty.

REJECTED at the current phase. Plasma publishes a credible technical path toward a proof-of-stake L1, but the path is not the control state. Production consensus began with a selected validator committee, public validator participation has no fixed timeline, and committee formation is still described as under development. A non-validator can verify data but still follows a trusted validator for consensus. Until permissionless entry and upgrade authority are live and measurable, the chain remains controlled by its launch group.

  5. What evidence will show a halt, censorship event, or governance change?
